Forensic (Town Investigative)

Forensic - Town Investigative

Attack: None
Defence: None
Unique: Yes
Priority: 1

Abilities:
- Choose 1 dead player each night and inspect the body.

Attributes
- You will learn everyone who visited that target the night they died, or who the target visited that night.
- You inspecting a body prevents it from being used by a retributionist or a necromancer that night, but does not rot the body.
- If the body has been forged, a random person will be added as a visitor.

Investigative Results:
Spoiler: - Sheriff: Innocent.
- Investigator: Doctor, Disguiser, Serial Killer, Potion Master or Forensic
- Consigliere: Your target appears to have an interest in bodies. They must be a Forensic.

Messages:
- You have decided to inspect [d]’s cadaver.
- You instead decided to inspect [e]’s carcass.
- [f] was visited by [visitors] the night they died!
- [g] visited [h] the night they died!

Notes:
- You can’t inspect a cleaned or stoned corpse.

i didn't think you could make a role more punishing for doing actions then spy but congrats now killers gotta afk all game.

This roles bad it does no work to get their info and just learns who visits a dead player.

The way to balance this role is to make it two target and learn if the player visited them on the night they died. You can't have a role that just dumps free info for selecting a dead player GOOD Ti's need to work Sheriff needs to find their target, Investigator needs to find their results and compare it to claims, Lookout needs to know who's going to be attacked to find evil

This is just "click on dead person, find bad guy" poor role design.

This is quite a cool role in my opinion but it is really powerful, Too powerful at the current moment.

Most of the time only 1 person will visit them so it is just a death sentence for the killer.

I am unsure of how to balance this but the current idea that comes to mind for me is that when you inspect a body you discover EVERYONE that has visited them up to the moment they died.

This way the role is less effective the more nights have passed but the problem is that it still would be incredibly strong as it still is a near death sentence.

The role to me has potential but needs a heavy nerf as it is currently.
