The Gambler, Neutral killing

The Gambler, I got some ideas off of the PM's mechanics but I edited and shifted them

The Gambler
You are a sadistic man who makes bets on the lives of others

-ATK: Basic -DEF: Basic

-Must Kill the Town
-Must kill the Mafia
-Must kill the Serial Killer
-Must kill the Coven
-Wins with the Survivor


Role Abilities

EACH CARD HAS A FOUR DAY COOLDOWN (Except clubs), YOU MAY ONLY USE ONE A NIGHT

Diamonds


-The first card you have are Diamonds, these can be used to roleblock a player stopping them from doing there action for one night

Hearts

-Number two is Hearts, these can be used once every four day to give yourself powerful defense for one night

Spades

-Spades are a card you use to kill someone at night dealing a powerful attack, this attack can be stopped by someone with powerful defense

-Clubs

-With clubs you can deal a basic attack to any one player, this can be stopped by a person with basic defense. Clubs are the only cards that can be used every day

Betting

-Every night you will make one bet on any player that you think will die/be dead the next morning (Ex. You bet on Giles Corey to die, you wake up and mafia killed him, you win the bet. Ex 2. You bet on John Proctor to die, you wake up and he Isn't however he is lynched that day, you win the bet.) If your bet is correct then all of the timers on your cards are reset and you may use the same one two nights in a row.

-You do not visit the person you bet on

-You can bet on someone even when they are in jail

-You can not bet on someone that you are visiting

-You can only bet on someone to die

Attributes

-Shows up as suspicious to a sheriff

-Betting can not be roleblocked however using cards can be

-Investigative results "Your target could be a Escort, Transporter, Consort, Hypnotist, or a Gambler"

-Consig/Witch results "Your target loves to place bets, they must be a Gambler"

-Achievements

Win 1 game as Gambler, Beginners luck-20pts
Win 5 games as Gambler, Quick wealth-20pts
Win 10 games a Gambler, Ace of Spades-40pts
Win 25 games as Gambler, Las Vegas personified-100pts
Win one bet, House always wins-20pts
Bet on pestilence, Well that one didn't pan out-40pts
Win 7 bets in one game, Lucky 7's-100pts
Only use black (Clubs and Spades) cards, I always bet on black-100pts

looks like an intresting thing

but the clubs are RNG which is a bad thing, specially if its a kill

also you shouldnt be able to target the player you bet on, otherwise you can just use diamonds on that player and win the bet

also NKs should have basic def

How are clubs RNG, since its just a basic attack?

My issue with this role is that its killing mechanism is unstable. NK roles should kill one person on average. The number of kills they can get drastically affects the game, and even one kill can turn the tide of the game. Roles that kill less than one player per night have little to no chance of winning, and those that kill more players tend to be extremely chaotic and cause the game to end too quickly.

I made it so that clubs can be used everyday, so everyday you can at least throw one club or use any of the other abilities.
