The Thief
-You are a local thief who wants to pull of the best heist in history

-Win conditions have one heist(s) that cause another death or save your life

-Wins with Town, Mafia, Werewolf, Coven, Pestilence, Arsonist, You may spare anyone else


Abilities

-You can go to someones house at night and steal something from them (Not every role can be stolen from)

Town Heists
-BodyGuard-You steal a bulletproof vest, Alert is "You find a bulletproof vest lying around and take it" (if you save yourself this item you win. On the other hand if you stole it and they were saving there life with the vest it also counts.)

-Doctor-You steal a self heal, Alert is "You find healing supplies and take it lying around and take it"

-Escort-You can not steal from an escort, Alert is "You find nothing of value in this house (Most will be like this so I'll only include the places were you can steal from, from now on)"

-Transporter-you find a transportation kit, Alert "You find a kit guiding you on how to swap you with someone else" (You transport yourself with someone else for one night, if the person you swapped with die, you win)

-Trapper-You find a trap, Alert "You find a giant metal trap and move it to your house" (Places a trap on you until your next heist)

-Crusader-You find the Vest that they would put on there target, Alert "You find a bulletproof vest and take it" (If the crusaders target dies while you have the vest you win.)

Mafia Heists

-Godfather-You find a bulletproof vest, Alert is "You find a bulletproof vest and take it" (This strips the godfather of basic defense for 2 nights)

Coven Heists

-Potion Mater-You find Either a potion of healing. If they use a potion of healing, the alert is (You find healing supplies and take it lying around and take it)

Neutral Heists

-Arsonist, you steal a bulletproof vest giving this Alert "You find a bulletproof vest, lying around and take it."

-Serial killer, you steal a bulletproof vest, the Alert "You have stolen a bulletproof vest lying around and take it"

-Executioner, you steal a a vest giving you this Alert "You find a bulletproof vest lying around and take it"

-Survivor, you steal one of there bulletproof vest's (If they are using one tonight you take the one they are about to use) giving you this Alert "You find a bulletproof vest lying around and take it"

-Plaugebearer, you steal a a vest giving you this Alert "You find a bulletproof vest lying around and take it"


Atributes

-Thief ATK: none DEF: none

Investigative results, Survivor, Vampire Hunter, Amnesiac, Medusa, or Psychic or Thief

Consig/Witch results, Your target wants to pull one massive heist, they must be a Thief

-Unique

-Will alert victim if an item is stolen giving an alert saying "A thief has stolen your ________"

-Can only keep one item at a time excess, items will be sold

-Can not visit while using an item

-Can get rid of basic defense on certain roles (If the person now lacking defense dies that counts towards your goal)

-If an item is stolen it is gone unless it regenerates like defense or a PM's potion

-You do not have basic defense when you steal it from a godfather/SK, you will just have a vest for the night.

Achievements

-win 1 game as a Thief, Pickpocket-20 Points
-win 5 games as a Thief, Robber-20 points
-win 10 games as a Thief, Selina Kyle-40 points
-Win 25 games as a Thief , Danny Ocean-100 points
-Steal one thing, First job-20 points
-Go to a house with nothing, Well...this was a bust-20 points
- Save yourself with a stolen item, Close call-40 points
-Get someone killed, All apart of the job-40 points
-Get nothing from 5 houses in one game, I should get a new job.-100 points

Timeline

February 27th 2021: original concept created and draft started
February 28th 2021: First edition posted on Role Ideas forum
February 28th 2021: Cut most stuff in blue and got rid of the chainmail vest alert
February 28th 2021: changed the PM and doctor alert
March 8th 2021: added more roles to steal

I don't like the idea of roles that affect the game differently depending on who they target. They're very hard to program, and some abilities will inevitably be more powerful than others. Most of this role's abilities are very similar, but the player can determine someone's exact role in certain cases which feels unbalanced. Also it should be an NB because it can win with anyone.

Thank you for your feedback. I switched it to NB like you said, since that was a smart idea and cut out the Chainmail and smeared in alerts
I also agree with you on that some of these are overpowered so I swapped the PM alert to the doctor alert, and should I cut out trans?

I kinda like this idea, you're just a thief who tries to stay alive and steal from people, but you can't possibly make a reward from a lot of roles, which is bad.
