Abilities:
You may mark someone every night.

Attributes:
There can only be one marked player.
You can deal a Basic attack on that player on the other night.
If you choose to attack, you shall not mark someone else that night.
If a player has been marked for two nights but is not shot, they will know they're marked.

Notifications:

You decide to mark (Player) tonight.
You decide to shoot (Player) tonight, whose head was marked.

You feel a mysterious figure aiming over your head.
You were shot by the Fanatic!
You have died!

Goal:
Survive to see Mafia lose the game.

Win Conditions:
Survivor win-con, but you lose if Mafia wins.

Special Attributes:
Marks are astral, attacks are not.

Investigator Results:
Sheriff - Your target seems innocent. (As a nerf, I think I want to make him appear susp, also allows claim space for Mafioso.)
Investigator - Your target could be a Vigilante, Veteran, Mafioso or Fanatic.
Consigliere - Your target is a loner determined to take down the Mafia. They must be the Fanatic.

Achievements:
Gunman (1 win)
Deadly Precision (5 wins)
Counter-Mafia (10 wins)
Escort to the Great Beyond (25 wins)
Role-dependant achievements:
Justice has a blur definition (Win with a Serial Killer)
Blindfolded (Kill 2 Townies)
For Honour (Kill a Mafia member and be killed by the Mafia at the same night)

Introduction:
You are a loner whose life was ruined by the Mafia.

Additional Information:
Fanatic is Unique.
The Fanatic wins as long as Mafia doesn't win, so if it ends up in a draw Fanatic still wins.

Lore:
He was an outsider to the Town.
No one knew why he came, all they can hear is the silver blazing sounds coming from his house.
Only he could remember that stormy night 2 years ago..
He was walking with his love of his life in a narrow path, having the time of his life. But everything changed since she was shot down in cold blood..
With a namecard left, stained with blood. The Mafia.
On that day, he changed. Blinded with what he calls Justice, he seeks and tracks down the Mafia to this Town.
Every day he recalls that scene and it drives him crazy.
His objective?
Take down the organisation who ruined his life.

Seems like a delayed vigilante, but on Neutral Benign's team, except can't win with mafia.
Not too sure how I feel about this. I think Neutral Benign should have the opportunity to win with any faction.

I don't think this fits in NB. It's able to kill an entire faction (two assuming it also needs to kill coven). A delayed vigi that isn't sided with town is a weird idea. Probably should be put in NC, a NB more sits there then kills.

Thanks, I agree. Mafia definitely needs to get buffed if this role comes out.

I agree too, I'll edit it and change its alignment. But, this role is only against the Mafia, so it doesn't have a grudge with the Coven

I mean, okay, taking on two factions the same time and not being the majority

On the point of fighting Coven, I don't understand why a Fanatic would be against ONLY the Mafia. The Coven is functionally similar to the Mafia (informed minority), so I don't see why this role would want both similar factions to die.
Furthermore I don't get how this isn't in the majority. It flat out wants to kill the Mafia. Every other faction is on the side of this role, town, vamps, NK, even witches could team up with a Fanatic, the Fanatic needs mafia to lose not town to win, a NK witch and Fanatic would have no conflicts. This is a NB town that wins with anyone so long as it isn't the informed minority, the faction that currently is under powered.

I switched its alignment to NC already. Also, I can see why Hard-counter Mafia is unacceptable, but this is just an idea posted to see people's opinion, and I appreciate yours
