Based off of seltzerwater's Smith, but with a few tweaks to make it "better" imo.
Role Name: Armorsmith
Role Alignment: Town Protective
Abilities:
Use or give a bulletproof vest, or craft another one.
Attributes:
- You start with 1 vest.
- If you give a player a vest on the night they are attacked, they will use it instantly.
- If you do nothing, you will make another vest.
Goal:
Win with Town.
Mechanics:
- At night, you may choose to give somebody bulletproof armor, or use it yourself. You cannot give or use armor on the first night. You start with 1 vest.
- If you do not give or use armor, and are not role blocked or jailed, you will craft another vest, giving you 1 more. You cannot give armor to the same target 2 nights in a row.
- If a target is attacked on the night you give them armor, they will use it immediately.
- Once a target has armor, they will be notified they have received it. They may use it whenever they wish.
- If a target with armor has a self-targeting ability, they will put on the vest if they do nothing at night, giving them basic defense. This does not include being role blocked.
- If a target with armor does not have a self-targeting ability, they will gain one. Preforming it will make them use the vest, giving them basic defense.
- If a target already has vests (is a Survivor or Bodyguard), they will simply gain another one.
- If the target has permanent basic defense, they will receive a message about receiving armor but discarding it because they do not need it. The Armorsmith is not told about this.
Investigator Results:
Sheriff - Your target is Not Suspicious.
Investigator - Escort, Consort, Transporter, Hypnotist, or Armorsmith.
Consigliere - Your target owns materials to make ballistic vests. They must be an Armorsmith.

No Action: "You spent the night forging another vest."

Notes:
