The Society is a game that takes mystery a bit too far...
Context: 10 people wake up scattered around a place they've never seen before. They can remember nothing but their own name, and that they have been kidnapped by a secret organisation. What's going to happen? What are they meant to do? Nobody knows, but they'll find out in good time....
Goal: Spoiler:There are several endings that will be hinted at over time, but the only one you all know at the start is that escaping will result in your victory.
Mechanics: Spoiler:There is a day/night cycle. What happens during each the day and night must be discovered for yourself, but you'll find that every morning you will receive some random items and five training points to split across the group. You may attempt to Identify an item, which will have varying success depending on the item and your INT stat. You may perform any action as long as it is humanly possible.
Locations: Spoiler:You will be able to move locations by using `/move [direction]`. You will not know what exactly lies ahead but will be able to discover this. When in a specific location, you will be able to see the location's channel, talk with the other players in that location and interact with them. All actions you perform will be told to everyone in the location.
Combat: Spoiler:Combat is turn-based. During your turn, you can either attack, attempt to escape, use an item or defend.
Stats: Spoiler:You have 10 health and 10 hunger, every other stat starts at 0 and can be increased with training points. RES cannot be increased using training points. HP - Your health, you will die if this reaches 0 (duh) HGR - Hunger, you will need to sustain this with food you either forage or receive every day STR - Determines your damage output. AGL - Determines your chance of dodging an attack, and in PvP scenarios, whoever has the highest AGL will go first. INT - Determines how much you can learn from hints and your skills at identifying objects. Also increases the amount of options available when crafting. RES - Temporary stat during fights increased by Defending. Any damage taken will be reduced by RES%. Maxes out at 50, and is slowly chipped away as you take damage.
