You stand outside Room 2, listening to the conversations within.

“We saw her on the deck when the storm was still distant. She was painting the ocean.”
The Mercenary searches around the room, looking for a source of the heat.

There are some lamps, but nothing that suggests this level of heat.

"Monster! Rawr!"

“She would have to have come below deck after the kid and I did. That guy with the mask came down after us, I know. We’re you on deck? Was she there before or after you came down?”

The Mercenary turns his attention to the painting. He tries to see how much more of the painting is filled in than before.

/Knock. If no answer check next room

The Mercenary turns his attention to the painting. He tries to see how much more of the painting is filled in than before.

Not much. Last you saw, she'd finished the deck and was about three quarters of the way through painting the sea. Now the sea is finished.

/Knock. If no answer check next room

"I'm busy, go away!"

“It looks like she stayed a bit longer after we all left the main deck. Now that I think about it, though, we should probably inform the captain. I wonder what could have caused this heat, though. Did anyone see her go down?”

You find nametags on her clothes inside her wardrobe. They name her as one Jessie Carter.

"I need 2 or more people to stay here at all times to ensure no one mess with the crime scene."

/walk up and down the hallway shouting "EVERYONE GET OUT OF YOUR ROOMS, THERE HAS BEEN A MURDER."

The Mercenary leans against the wall in the back of the room to watch the door and rests his hand on his gun. He assumed that the other person had meant him and the kid, since there had been three of them in the room.

“You doing alright, kid? It can be really scary or sad seeing a dead person for the first time. We’re gonna figure out who did this so it doesn’t happen again.”
