regardless
nominating eragon, dota, and chemist because they're cool people
last season scum won a good 80% percent of the games if memory doesnt serve me wrong
that's because mad17 is a terrible setup and there is no optimal strategy as town that allows you to efficiently utilize given abilities, as there are mechanics that keep you in check
this setup is basically a 12v3 with two JOATs
i don't know if they utilize a balance formula of some sort but i'm familiar with the (# of town = # of scum + 1) and this game requires a minimum of 4 mislynches to reach parity with town as scum, which gives time, numbers, and roles favorable to town
i'm not even factoring in the two heals within the cycles, which would further fuck up scum's tempo
with 2AM calculations scum would have to get rid of two-thirds of the Town as opposed to 60% minimum, which is quite a step
if i'm to consider that this is done in a regular ToSFM setting (iirc we're in the badlands) town would probably win at least twice as much as scum would, given that ToSFM!wolves excel in deepwolfing by being mechanically cleared rather than through elaborate dayplay, which isn't a good strategy to take with this setup given how limited two JOATs would be in a PR claimspace
odds might shift fairly if you think of it more as players that have relatively stronger dayplays (by which it should live on with somewhere close as mountainous, balancing out the scumsided nature of such setup), but with different communities, there may be culture shock of some sort that will drop this down a bit
i haven't seen MU outside cow's jester hell game so i can't really say for sure if it's balanced relative to the overall performance of players so that's that
