@joeshe, don't feel worried about the quickhammer thingy i did the same exact thing last game because its just inevitable

Day 1 Final Votecount

this is a learning point for everyone to keep an eye on the votes.

The D1 quicklynch around page 11/12 had only 1 scum on the wagon, and that was the vote that put Ph0ne to L-2.

only 1 scum out of 7 people was required to mislynch a town PR because of a quickhammer.

If theres every ANY doubt about the votes, just wait until you see a votecount. or if you have time go make your own votecount so you know. Don't just blindly vote if theres ever any doubt.

My b about the 2 town killing roles
I tried my best to make sure the game was still properly playable after that
I don't think the route I took effected game balance too much, outside Mario being vulnerable to die as an IC instead of being able to survive the whole game

That's quite the unholy combination of quoted standard theme with inner quoted compact theme

@Juvenile i actually think you played fairly well, a few things to help. Like the above, keep an eye on votes. The quickhammer D1 was one of the main reasons(i feel) that town lost. Ph0ne claiming escort would have completely stopped that mislynch from occuring, which probably means town would have won. also, when you are a main lynch target(D2) and the day is almost over, and you are a PR, don't say "I would heavily recommend not lynching me" because that feels like deflection/forced without locking onto a claim, while if you said "I am a bodyguard" its a lot less likely you would have been lynched. Other than that its just experience and i think you played fine. reads will come in time, don't stress, and its a game of fun.

@Joeshe: really one of the main things is just activity. I understand life is annoying and makes it hard to post, but you had 22 posts during about a 30 day-long game. Thats averaging slightly less than 1 post per real life day, which isnt really enough to get into a game of mafia. You don't need the level of activity some people put into it, but if you don't have enough time to put aside to get into a game, its not even worth playing. I do hope you, as well as all the other newbies, stay in our community and just grow with experience, but slightly more activity is needed.

@Righto: actually i don't have any criticisms here with advice. You played really well for your first ever game of FM, especially rolling mafia as your first time.

@flint: Kinda the same as joeshe, just a bit more activity is needed, but you did get involved in making analyzed reads and you were pretty towny, even if it was from a biased town PoV

@Bodhrak: If it was apparant from the way i thought you were obvious town from D1, you played very very well, and i applaud you for your first game ever(even if you've read other games). good job.

i mean obviously it was balanced as we got to a MyLo scenario that would have been LyLo if i'd decided to kill

I actually watched Juve N1 because he was my top townread at EoD

Bodhrak was fine, had some good thoughts

Flint was kinda forced into the position of towncarry after I died and handled it well

Joeshe, I don't blame you for self-hammering. It is technically gamethrowing, but most FM players would have done the same in your position.
