I should probably also mention
No lynch only needs 50% of the vote to be considered majority, and 2 players voting for it will immediately end day with a nolynch
Which I suppose means I have to take back my earlier comment about the locking in votes to end day early, since this is also an option
I gave that option earlier just to make sure there wouldn't be a 5 day deadlock of nothing

i mean, tbf chubby was literally pushing me thinking he was town, thats why the push was wolfy and why i assumed he was scum. Because he was coming up with fake reasons to scumread me even believing i was town... so it was forced and bad.

Self hammering in that scenario is strictly considered gamethrowing.
However, it is also what could be considered a "concede" button. While it does cause the game to intentionally be lost, it is done simply to speed up the inevitable. I don't blame you for wanting to take that action, and I would have done the same in his place without a doubt.

Just because he posted the most doesn't mean he's more trustworthy
Quite honestly, Eragon wasn't playing particularly well this game
You (and everyone else, for that matter) simply disregarded the possibility that he could be scum because he was active
Be more aware of people who should have died at night, and be wary of the possibility of town that doesn't post much
You'll get used to this happening as time goes on
After all, this is the point of NFM

this is a learning point for everyone to keep an eye on the votes.

The D1 quicklynch around page 11/12 had only 1 scum on the wagon, and that was the vote that put Ph0ne to L-2.

only 1 scum out of 7 people was required to mislynch a town PR because of a quickhammer.

If theres every ANY doubt about the votes, just wait until you see a votecount. or if you have time go make your own votecount so you know. Don't just blindly vote if theres ever any doubt.
