I accept the lore explanation that you're both super drunk. Anyway, I've calmed down over my mass panic of twiddling thumbs from yesterday and accepted that I have to wait until D2 to start doing anything relevant at all post wise. Acceptance is a calming thing.

I honestly read Gent's original post as "I also expect to die tomorrow or something has gone seriously wrong' and thought nothing of it.

Now that Met quoted him I feel stupid, or feel like I just predicted the future like Arckas, one or the other.

The Gent read is just what I gathered from his first posts, I feel Mafia Gent is more avoiding the thread and calling the game stupid. Him calling some people out and shaking things up at the start seems town motivated to me.
The read will likely change due to Gent being a magical unicorn, but that’s just what I felt at the moment.

I've received many questions about it from some people, so for the benefit of all, I will go over the Setup Post modifiers:

Configuration:
--Flavored Roles--
I'd expect this to be self explanatory.

--Open Faction List--
You are privy to the number of each faction in the game.

--Custom Roles--
Not all roles are standard roles.

--Simplicity Modifier--
If a role is not standard, it is likely a modification of a standard role. Standard roles that do roll are likely to be simpler ones.

Naru, I think I get it? I guess? Like if you see how Gent plays his games, this is how he usually approaches as Town. Because he's a good player and whatnot I assume he knows we'll meta read him and point out weird stuff he doesn't nornally do.

That's why I don't really want to drop a TR on him yet, this is the kind of thing you want to wait and see on after Night 1. It's why I also don't understand why Obi keeps pushing his TR of Gent either.
