personally, imagining my meta knowledge of my teammates and other players is a blank slate, i would take the traitor and the daychat every single time. i’d then consider the joat, depending on how comfortable my teammates are with going up against that many scum. imo those are the most powerful mods, in order, and most mafias would pick something similar, so we can predict what kind of team we have to face them here. but i could be wrong, hence the question!

However, thinking from a POE perspective and late-game, I may opt for daychat/traitor edition and consigliere instead to weed out PRs.

I would choose Traitor, Consig, Daychat

Consig is OP and an obvious choice, especially if I knew I had a 50% chance of getting it
Daychat is also obv. You can talk to your Maf friend everyone loves their Mafia friends

Why would you pick traitor if you don't know what it does? The question was pretty serious so I expected a serious answer. The rest of your answer suggested that you actually read the rest of the OP regarding mafia mechanics, so I'm kind of iffy rn.

From my POV, it looks like you could be trying to clear yourself as a confirmed town by feigning ignorance of one of the main mechanics of the game (traitor).

If I was Mafia , I will Just choose Day Chat , because of Mafia Day chat is a Lot better than Just night chat ( Some games has mafia Day chat from default because of that ) .

I would personally let the fellow mafia members to choose if they are more experienced - but I think i would put my vote on consig also.

I'd choose 0 mods. I feel like giving town more PRs is more of an advantage to Town than Mafia.
