This post was the reason I voted you. It looked like unsure scum trying to find an opportunity to hop on a townie's wagon.

Trying to dictate PR actions even hypothetically is a bad idea imo.

PEdit- The OMGUS vote was sus, it makes more sence for me with scum!soul but after that their reactions felt honest and in general I think scum would be more defensive or use more AtE. I know this isn't a solid read but I'm sure I could dig up some posts to say specifically why I think they are town.

Indeed, that is why I would like to discuss it, if they can.

Discussing a potential plan gives scum a good way of countering it, particularly this early.

The thing is that you can. In our game as an Escort I would rb Soul. Let's say we agree that Escort should do that Night 1. Consort wouldn't like that, because would be forced to that as well.

Assuming the consort wants to stick to an Escort claim, which they very often don't.

Inactivity isn't AI, much like being super active isn't either, so it should depend on the content that they are providing. If, whenever they are posting, there's little or nothing helpful to the town, then it's scummy. If its obvious they're trying to contribute, then usually you'd leave them alone.

If you don't have "clues" the logical thing to do is make some. Voting someone for that reason isn't going to help do that, and you should know it.

And what are you doing?
I wasn't randomly voting, I was voting someone who voted me. They seem the most scummiest right now (in my eyes).

It isn't a good reason but they are standing by their vote and what they said before which is something I was looking for in this wagon

Soulshade doesn't seem to know the FM meta where naked votes are common and something that is accepted (and I would that is a good thing). This falls under their paradigm where providing reasons is all important and i see them as town trying to push that mindset to help the town.

Depends Personally I would go for lynching people who don't talk that often but it can be risky if they are impotent and just trying to not draw much attention.
Also the content of there post counts if they are just meme posting and that's all they are probably trying to get there post count up for the sake of not looking suspicious.

What I took from this post (quotes removed):

• Soulshade stood by his reasoning, despite being somewhat irrational.
• Soulshade is unfamiliar of the acceptability of naked votes, leading to said irrationality.

Not to say you're incorrect, your points are all clear and agreeable, but these points could have been extrapolated from his earlier posts (before your vote.)

You insisted that your vote was necessary to determine his alignment, but once I pressured a vote against you the conclusion seemed to be rushed immediately with no new content being introduced to induce some sort of reads shift. It looked like it was being bullshitted.

I just had a few minor non-read related concerns about this initial write-up:

• Firstly, try not to expect scum to behave in a certain way, it conflicts with bias. Instead, aim to interpret posts to potentially have indicative behavior.
• Secondly, AtE and OMGUS are abbreviations meant to indicate weakness or fallacy in someone's argument, however it isn't unique to scum behavior.

I think some people don't know that game has started, if they have seen the current day chat they should of commented that they are not afk by now. I'm pretty sure you can get replaced for being AFK.
Unless they just don't want to talk for any reason.
