Just out of curiosity (since I don't think I've read a game yet where you've been town) do you generally get scumread when you're town, too?

Hard to say - I've only finished 2 games as Town so far. One of them I was conf Town from the go (but only because my role was self-confirming and ridiculously OP), and the other game I'm assuming I was scumread, since a Consort managed to convince the Town I was Maf.

The reason I asked is because maybe it's not your scum-game that's the issue, but rather, it's your town-game. Like, if you have trouble selling yourself as town when you're ACTUALLY town, I imagine it would also be kinda difficult to pretend to be town when you're actually scum. I haven't read either of those games yet though, so I don't know if that's the case.

Also, I'm probably the last person who should be offering any kind of advice since I'm still pretty new myself.

Yeah, that's my only complaint as a spectator. It ended too quickly. Some of the TvT arguments were amusing to watch, but aside from that, town made good lynch choices and had good reads.
