The "it's dumb" argument is silly, they said the same thing about the "silent kills" but that is apparently a thing too so the point is moot.

However I can see it as I stated still being a strategic play more than anything. Despite Jacko's argument being weak they do have points that just don't add up right in the end. The interactions of those involved don't make sense to make it feasible enough to believe. The specific information sure I can believe that to be the case, but the players involved? Not so much, it comes off almost too convenient and inconsistent.

I know I'm not scum, whether or not Jacko is I'm willing to believe the possibility but I wouldn't think them aligned with Mroz with how things went down.

B - You actually got told a whole Mafia lineup in someone elses rolecard - This is really dumb

Took the Names of the Mafia roles and stuck random players on them.

Theres no way a town member would've been given a Rolecard of a player without an alignment flip.

Why would milte give him the role names but not the player names? Role names of mafia on their own are useless, and so giving just them out is nonsensical. The far more likely option is that milte just copy+pasted Macca's role PM without thinking and forgot that the other mafia's names were listed there.

Also, the fact that Wind has a green clear on you means nothing when multiple players are "millerised" and there have been several other misleading cop reports (eg. Halk and Eliah).

Also, just thought I'd bring this up although it's a bit of a crazy theory (but I won't be online again until after the day's ended so I thought I'd just share it now).

Halk got a guilty report on a townie; therefore he might be insane. He got a clear on Varanus.
murat claims to have transported Mroz with Varanus on the night James/Wind checked Mroz.

Tinfoil theory: Varanus and murat are on the same scum team (team#2). murat is a mafia transporter, and kept his result quiet to avoid outing his teammate as scum. Probably absurd but I might be onto something there.

And besides, this is an explicitly bastard SFM, "it's dumb" won't get a mechanic changed

They absolutely would let something that broken in the game, it seems almost a requirement for pitches to be as crazy and non-vanilla as possible (i've gotten flak on a pitch for it being "too vanilla", which is, to be frank, completely absurd but thats a discussion for another time)

Jacko is not wrong in that it would be game breakng, whole on the reverse it is possible to have been forgotten and sent. There is a lot of "maybes" and "could be's" here to think about, but logically speaking everything is a possibility. Saying it is nonsensical to just give out the role names is a moot point when it is just as nonsensical to give out the player names with them.

From a logical standpoint, omitting the key information, IE the player names would be the most logical course of action. Leaving Jammy to "fill in the blanks" as it were to protect their own mafia as I said. 4 kills for a mafia that allegedly has lost no members would all but guarantee them majority. And this is just a logical argument.

Now plug in Jacko's counter claim to Mroz, the claim at the time was shitty and pointless, still partially shitty but that's not the point. In what logical universe would scum buddies have to pull a stunt like that? If Jacko is in fact scum then he would be opposing scum to Mroz, which is a possibility. The implications here don't add up and fills Jammy's point with gaping holes to fill.

Then, add on the fact that I would have to have been bussing both Jacko and Mroz while the counter claiming was happening and the fact that Jacko claims to have been roleblocked and as the "Geisha" that would mean I role blocked them. However considering A. I'm not a roleblocker to begin with B. it would be pointless to roleblock your own mafia mate (granted can lie about this but again point A so moot point) and C. Nobody else has really claimed role blocked that I remember. The whole argument is questionable at best. If mafia did have a roleblocker then someone like Wind wouldn't be getting their results to begin with considering their claim.

All in all the general information seems solid and probably true, but when you get down to the detailing everything starts to fall apart rapidly.

So what is to say that Jammy isn't a "Yakuza" member spilling the beans on their own set up to pin it on someone else that they suspect to be mafia. Roles don't flip just alignments so if he was right then it would pay off significantly, although he is wrong as far as I am concerned. Jacko is more or less still up in the air. It easily explains how they know so much information and just play a bit of plug and match with the rest considering who is dead. If you're a mafia member you know how many maf are on your team, and thus how many are likely on the other. If you haven't lost anyone and you see two take a fall already then you know the other team is weak, it's not far of a stretch to take an open shot like Macca's or even DJ's flip to try and pull a stunt. It's a hella ballsy move but definitely plausible. Jammy just dun goofed in choosing the "fall" targets to take the hit.
