I would be a genuinely good policy lynch, because I've shown that people townread me when I'm scum.

That said, in this instance I'm 80% sure I'm town (this game is bastard) so in this specific instance I'd rather PL someone who's more difficult to read because they're bad. Reason being: Town!Elastoid is more beneficial to town than Town!PersianRugs. Both would be difficult to read, but lynching a PersianRugs type carries less risk, because he's not going to positively contribute either way.

We'll see, I'm the best target for a policy lynch btw, don't try stealing that away from me.

1. moonbird -- Absolutely not. Contributes well to town even when she's scum. (Yeah I'm going to be salty, sorry.)
2. 3cheersforidiots -- Who? Possible PL candidate because unknowns are hard to read. I will say this a lot this post.
3. SirCakez -- I'm pretty sure I can read this guy. Let's not.
4. melanora -- Contributes well enough through activity that she's not a solid early PL candidate.
5. Elastoid -- Decent PL if no better options are available but several better options are available.
6. Anonymous0726 -- Tragically unmemorable but I'm sure others have a read on him.
7. milte345 -- Too easily scumread as scum.
8. Thukk0 -- Who? Possible PL candidate because unknowns are hard to read. I will say this a lot this post.

12. Hiphoplog -- I know him to be bad. He has demonstrated a willingness to gambit and make stupid moves. Very good PL target, especially in a closed, possibly bastard game, where his gambits are more likely to fuck town over.
13. notCalmYT -- He's probably going to replace out anyway, let's see who takes this slot before we make any decisions.
14. deferentsheep -- Generally agreed to have visible tell as scum. He should live.
15. JammySplodge -- Known to act incredibly scummy as town. His indecision regarding Dota2reporter cost town the game in 9E. Taking him to late game is bad for town -- he will either make the wrong decision or act as an easy mislynch target. Very good PL target.
16. Vader4587 -- Part of the faceless masses in just about every game. Good PL target for this reason.
17. pumacatrun2 -- Meh. There are better targets.
18. Xanet734 -- Isn't this a Vader alt? Whatever. See note on Vader.
19. PokemonKidRyan -- Poor PL target, as he's guaranteed to give us a real reason to lynch him by Day 3.

Thus, best PL targets in my mind are, in order: Hiphoplog, Jammysplodge, Vader and Xanet (yes that's also the order in which they appeared on the Player List that's a coincidence).

If I could be convinced Hiphop WOULDN'T pull some idiot gambit and be mislynched later, I could be convinced Jammy was a better target. But knowing Hip like I do, he's going to claim Sheriff Day 4 based on a read he feels super confident in, get someone mislynched and then be mislynched himself.

Sorry I'm a little late to joining, but I just read through everything. I've never played a game with a D1 lynch before, and since it's plurality lynch, people voting so quickly for no real reason (like the pg1 votes) is kind of scaring me a little .___.

Reading some more though, I guess a policy lynch isn't a bad idea (better than someone accidentally being lynched because of meme votes.....).Unfortunately, I haven't played with most of the people here, so I'm not sure who are the best candidates are.

I read through Elastoid's list, and I HAVE played with DancingKitten before, and I have to honestly say he is always REALLY hard for me to read. I always feel like he comes off kinda scummy, even when he's Town- but it's just the way he is.

Scenario here:

1) We agree to nolynch. We get to -1 hour with no votes.
2) A player last-second votes TheCow for memes LOL
3) The next day he says he felt TheCow was scummy and that it'd be better to vote him.

Do we lynch that player as scum? Possibly, but probably not. Thus, there's a good chance for scum to hijack a nolynch attempt to get a free kill. It's much better to at least discuss a policy lynch and hope that associative tells and the like manifest from the discussion.

I didn't even think about 1 person voting at the last second lol. But yeah, that would be bad. I don't really have an issue with a policy lynch, I just kind of freaked out a little bit when I came in and saw people voting on the first page with no reasons given. A well-discussed policy lynch is reasonable, and does seem to be the best option.
