Good point assuming the Mediums would say their name in the QT. We should keep it how it is then unless there was a way to do the QT with 2 Mediums.

especially since the medium can always make it obvious who they are

hell, just give the medium and the dead player a QT and have the medium call themselves "medium" so they dont have to go through the mod

Issues with this is that you can view history for the QuickTopic and you'd be able to view it during the day, so that'd really defeat the purpose of Medium being a night time role with limitations.
Unless there are features with QuickTopic that I'm not familiar with.

Just make it so the dead player isn't allowed to confirm if there is another med. Put the responsibility at the dead player instead of the medium
mostly "Taeyeon" ingame currently 1775+ elo in ranked

The 2nd Medium can see their name as both can post in the QT. It's not exactly like TOS.

Mod can copy + paste all messages into PM and send it to the Medium(s). Then, they delete it and recreate one for the day, delete that one, and create a new one for the night, and so on. Just a bit more work.

You can do the same thing here, just view your PM's.


She meant that if players want to use it as a dead chat during the day, the Medium(s) can see it.

Or the Mod can say that you can't post in the night dead chat and have a separate day dead chat. That would be easier, but that means that they have to trust the dead players not to post in the night dead chat during the day.

And you can check the chatlog on ToS, Kirize. You're basically saying it's bad every player can look back at their results they got.

Mod locks quick chat after night ends
Ez

Also, mediums can basically confirm each other as it is already, just based on it being obvious who they are by behavior.

Varanus has a good idea. And you can disallow it but people can look at it secretly if they felt like a rebel.

The point I'm trying to make is if you link dead chat to the Medium they can look at it whenever they want instead of just at night. I'm not sure why this is hard to understand.

I think there's a misunderstanding here

Medium isn't getting a link to the dead chat
They're making a QT with a single dead player for a single night, and the chat gets locked afterward

They still can look back through PMs with the current system. I don't see how this is an issue unless players are posting during the day.

Well I know you are trying to help, but you don't usually succeed. I can definitely see town motivation behind your actions regardless of how ridiculous they may be. I don't agree with anyone who said you were extremely scummy, just a different style of play that isn't as effective, but isn't scummy. I can see where they are coming from though.
