1. Is a Veteran hardclaim on Day 1 ever worth the WIFOM as Town, whether it actually IS your role or not?
2. Which evil roles would be insane enough to hardclaim it without a second thought right at the beginning of Day 1?

1) By answering this question, aren't we opening up *cringe* possibilities for the Mafia to have a further incentive to attack? That can be both good, but mainly bad. I don't think that's a wise point of discussion. And the WIFOM advantage is very situational, it's too risky no matter what the role is. Especially this early.

I'll get back to question 2 once I've read the rolecards. I'm not up to date on the changes and additions.

Hence the huge WIFOM attachment. If he's lying but is Town, Town doesn't want him attacked, so the hard claim is most likely to draw the attention of no roles at all while he practices important night actions. If he were a Town Power, why not just claim after he performs his godly Town Power action?

Maybe he is telling the truth, and scum visiting him at all is a GOOD thing.

If he were lying and is actually a Citizen... meh. I see him not getting attacked and absorbing a lot of Town actions, both of which would be bad. If his goal here is to take the hit of a kill action, this isn't how to do it.

And if he's lying, and is Scum, he's highly subject to be hit by either Killing Actions or Investigative ones. Is the attention worth it?

Mafia is fairly self-explainatory... the mindset should be continuous for any mafia role. Does Mafia really want to fake a Veteran claim?
Neutral Benign includes Survivor, Amnesiac, Phantom, Shade, and Double. Shade is basically Phantom, but when killed by someone, they choose a master and do everything they can to make sure their killer loses the game. Double shoots someone with a bullet (kills those with immunity), and Double takes their role. If the shot fails, Double dies.

Neutral Evil includes Executioner, Jester, Bomber, and Witch. Since they become the target of killing actions AND Investigative actions, I don't think any of them would really want this at night. I'm not sure a Jester could pull off the Day 2 lynch either, so there's a ton of risks here.

Neutral Killing? Doubt it.
