If we nolynch today I'm in support of a nolynch tomorrow so we force mafia to keep Sam and mole both alive unto endgame and narrowing our lynch pool to elastiod, alex, poly, and eliah, two of which would be scum. In order, eliah>alex>elastiod>poly. mafia would focus kills on Taylor and myself to keep lynch pool ss large as humanly possible

wait mafia gains majority if there's two successive kills and nolynches or something right

fuck that idea then

shit mole you're actually right a nolynch is optimal--a nolynh combined with a lynch from the eliah/poly/alex/elastiod pool tomorrow

Yeah when I was *SURE* Moleland was mafia I was ready to vote him, but now that I'm leaning the other way, I think nolynch is best.

You guys know what, I almost pushed the lynch on the serial killer on Day 2, despite all my shit and everyone else's, if I had managed to, the town would have almost certainly won. :(

So did James. Coming to the right conclusion for the wrong reasons does not a good read make.

Spoiler: Image

Moleland was found dead, murdered by the Mafia!
They left the following will:

Well, at least that mislynch stopped me wasting a night investigating an innocent.

N1: Moonbird - N/S. Moon could be Godfather, don't forget that
N2: Eliah - N/S. Gotta be town. I don't see them as Godfather
N3: Sam - Mafia Had I not been so panicked, I could of pointed out his scumslips, but c'est le vie
N4: Truegent - I have a feeling I detected Serial Killers slips in some of his posts. I'll see. Whether I live to report them, who knows?

They were a Sheriff!

Day Seven begins! It'll end on the 10th, 13:00 (EST), or when majority is reached.

That's odd. I guess Mafia is going "fully bussing Sam" mode.

I slept peacefully obviously.

Slept peacefully (dur).

So that confirms the sam lynch for the day.

The only advantageous kills last night would have been sam/mole (now confirmed as mole) and taylor, tbh. Taylor would be a risky kill due to possible alerts; Mole/Sam would force a bus and clear the air, so to say.

Nope, time to find who was mainly against and behind your lynch first.

I think it's possible for Elastoid to be mafia, but unlikely.

Elastoid wrote:Bro, you're playing a bad game. Sam didn't need to work at his claim, because yours was such shit. You timed your reveal to have the least possible impact, there was a VERY high chance you should have died (a dead protective, a live SK and mafia, and you claim anyway). Long story short: your actions don't make much sense. You need to NOT take it for granted that everyone's just going to believe you when you claim, especially when you back mafia into a corner. You'd have to EXPECT the counterclaim. "Softing" all game about your results doesn't make your claim more believable, it just shows it was planned.

More, you need to EXPECT people to doubt you. As town, you've got to recognize things from others' perspective and realize when it's hard to believe you. If you OMGUS everyone who doesn't believe you, then people will spend all game trying to decide if you're scum or just bad, and if they come to the wrong conclusion, maybe you ought to consider how much of the blame belongs to you.

For example, I can see why you'd suspect me. After all, I HAVE defended your two top lynch targets. I recognize your suspicion, and I'll respond with rational arguments -- My defense of Sam was 100% evidence-based, after interrogating BOTH of you about your claims. Sam had satisfactory answers to my questions -- I think he played very poorly, but he shows consistency of intent. Your answers were all to the effect of "wow I didn't think of that, you're right." If you think I'm right about all of this shit, you have to understand why I'd think you're scum. As for moonbird, again, it was a logical defense. We have two counterclaims -- we know for sure one of them is scum. Moonbird did a dumb thing, and it's easy to PL her for lying, but the way she claimed makes no sense as scum. What it accomplished was it took suspicion AWAY from TrueGent (a mislynch target) and it put suspicion on her. I don't see GF moonbird trying to save town from mislynching, especially not when it may come at the expense of her own life. We're talking about an experienced player who made a gambit at the start of Day 4 when town was in better shape, then regretted it Day 5 when we were facing much worse odds. Further, she made the claim to push on Tilted -- if you think Sam is mafia, then GF moonbird would KNOW that Sam's push on Tilted was coming, so there'd be no need to make that claim. I read her as town that made a mistake and is now prime mislynch bait -- which makes every push on her look even more scummy, and here you are sheeping an old read on her rather than pushing supposedly guaranteed scum.

There -- I just logically justified all of my reads. I can logically justify pretty much everything I've said and done all game, and I'm prepared to. You see a post as scummy? Show me. I'm not afraid to be interrogated. We're in mylo, and if I'm lynched, we lose, but I'm not super concerned as long as townies don't pressure vote me so scum can quickhammer.

You need to learn to play town better. If someone pushes on you, ask yourself: do I legitimately appear scummy? If so, then you can't scumread the person reading you -- they're actually trying to find scum, and OMGUS will just lead to your mislynch. Instead, justify your actions, clarify your position, and then judge their response. In other words, you have to do more than just scumread -- you have to ensure that you're not a good mislynch target.

Moleland, a quick explanation of why you didn't get mislynched -- because Sam is bad. Not because you're good.

Reads on you were strongly scummy. Reads on Sam were null. If I had to pick which one had a better case, I'd have gone with Sam just because your case was AWFUL. If we were in lylo, you'd have had my vote and we'd have likely lost the game.
