I read somewhere in here that a quick lynch cutting the discussion time short only benefits scum, even if scum is lynched.
It's not often, at least in the early days, that the Town doesn't have anything to discuss.
For the most part it's a good idea to not lynch someone as long as there is over 24 hours left in the day as it cuts the time Town can plan and talk things over.
Remember in a normal game Mafia does not have day chat and since we can't cut a night short early on to prevent Mafia discussion, then we shouldn't cut the days short to prevent Town discussion.
That also doesn't mean don't vote for people early on, if everyone waited until the 24 hours remaining mark to start voting then it's likely to run out of time and not lynch.
But again don't just randomly vote, every vote you make needs to have an explanation either attached or clearly stated by you beforehand. Votes without explanations area good way for people to think you are Mafia just trying to lynch another Mafia for Town credibility if a Mafia is lynched and you voted without saying why.
The worst thing you can do is jump on a bandwagon and expect people to think you are Town if a Mafia is lynched. It just doesn't work that way.
