Look, I get what you mean but I prefer to be in-depth and productive whenever I can/ It's not like my whole list is gonna be based on singular slips - it's just a collection of thoughts that I can narrow down later. Personal preference.

Why make a reads list so early in the game? Seems like wasted effort to me.

Trust me, some people actually slip Day 1.

Yeah, I just like writing down anything I note as it happens rather than having to ISO everyone later. Even small things can help when looking at a player's overall actions.

I read them. I actually think they are pretty useful, but they only really mean anything when we have several days worth of info to draw apon. Posting them before that is redundant, and just stating who is scummy and who isn't works a lot better.

And you're not bringing to attention Sword questioning their motives in the first place? Agreeing with Cakez here, they were trying to help and got shut down for no reason. I doubt that backing out was scummy, just trying to resolve the issue.

I had a response typed out but forgot to post it. Swords looks more confused than anything, but it could be a slip of some kind (not like a scumslip but something else). Part of the reason I didn't push on Swords because the questions indeed stupid/scummy and I liked the pressure.

Hello everyone. I'm Ryan, and I'm infuriating to work with in FM (as you're about to see) and although I love all of you, prepare for me to get salty, especially if the mafia convince town this is a bad idea.

So, I've done a lot of thinking recently about FM, both on these forums and others and I've come to a very unpopular opinion, well, multiple actually, but there's one that I'm going to try to be pushing this game... I am being completely serious here, I want to D1 mass claim. Yes, I want to D1 mass claim. I will repeat myself. I want to D1 mass claim. Did you catch it? I want to D1 mass claim. Now, let me explain myself because I know that this isn't exactly regular and most likely, any player here that has ever played fm is thinking RYAN WTF ARE YOU THINKING UR GIVING SCUM INFORMATION U LITERAL ALUMINUM TRASHCAN HANG THIS SCRUBLORD D2, WITCH USE THE VIG TO SHOOT THIS KID. Well, I assure you that if everyone cooperates, let me say that again, if everyone cooperates. Did you catch that? If everyone cooperates, this will be the easiest town win you've ever participated in.
Let's run down the pros and cons of d1 mass claim.

Cons:
Power roles are revealed
Scum have mafia chat open rn, so this isnt as effective as it would be in a standard open roll list game
Witch is a bitch, but not insuperable by any means as they have to lie like everyone else.
uhh that's about it.

Pros:
Scum are forced into a lie that they will have to keep for the REST of the game. I think the strength of this is underrated.
Power roles are revealed
Discrepancies are found
We can coordinate before each night period what each active role should be doing, and failure can be penalized.
TI's are more effective now that they can focus solely on discrepancies.
TP's are more effective.v
TS's are more effective.
Who needs scum-hunting when you can simply look at someone's role, their night actions, AND their behavior and call them scum?

I will start in this mass claim by claiming TI. I recommend only claiming alignment for now. We can narrow down the claims D2 when we have info.

If asking for opinions on the most devastating roles mafia could roll (which, in turn leads newbies to read through the role cards and start thinking about the possibilities in the role list) is scummy, then I guess asking about people's previous FM experience is scummy too
