What do you seek to gain from this question?

If you don't ask questions:

D1 isn't important until somebody says D1 isn't important and everyone scum reads them.

And I ended being the victim in NFM 8.

I was trying to kickstart a discussion. Its also a way to see if everyone understands all of the mafia roles, as some of the FM Mafia roles are different from their TOS counterparts (Disguised, Blackmailer).

Oh right, forgot BM'r is different. If mafia finds the witch that's a very useful role for them.
Favoured role: Executioner
Least favoured role: Sheriff
Most commonly known in games as "Cat Burglar".

If that's the case, then ask them something that lends itself to learning the Mafia cards. Asking the biggest threat is kind of silly considering the limited role list.

If that makes any sense.

I thought this would contribute to looking at the role cards since people would evaluate the roles to answer. But not really a big deal.

I guess I'll answer Sir's question because why not.

I feel Framer/Disguiser may be the most dangerous, with the lower amount of players it may be easier for the investigative (if invest/sheriff) to hit their target, which could waste a night, depends on the circumstances. With that in mind the town investigative should analyze their results carefully, don't be rash.

Framers and disguisers can be good if their targets are investigated. Consigliere can be good if they find PRs. Consort can be good if a PR reveals. Blackmailers can be good if they find witch. Janitors are always good, by significantly increasing claim space for scum. Since janitors are not as random as the other mafia roles, and are almost as good as the other roles when the other roles DO work, I conclude that Janitor is the role that benefits scum the most, and us the least in most circumstances. Other roles can be better at times, but Janitor is most likely to harm us he most.

Any reason you refer to these roles as "good"?

Sure, but I'm only curious why you used good in that case instead of another word...like, devastating, since we're talking from a town standpoint, yes?

Good means good at what it is supposed to do. Since scum roles are supposed to hinder the town, the mafia roles that are more effective at doing this are "good."

Cakez is more awkward than a typical high school anime. His entrances and questions seem forced and he's easy to back out on things. Do any of you agree?

No, not really. They just seem like a typical IC trying to get discussion moving. If anything Sword is a lil sus for questioning the motives of their questions. I mean, their excuse was that the question didn't lend itself to the Mafia role cards but it does exactly that.

Saving the rest for my reads list tho.

Why make a reads list so early in the game? Seems like wasted effort to me.

You with me, everyone?

Ymirr - agreed. Best just to post what you think whenever until a good time through day 2. A reads list isn't as important as many people make it out to be.

Yeah, I just like writing down anything I note as it happens rather than having to ISO everyone later. Even small things can help when looking at a player's overall actions.

If a slip (or just a general scumread) is found, we won't need lists to point it out until another 20 pages or so. It's not like anyone reads readslists anyways :/
