Also, reads.

Typically players will tell you that's reads revolve around how a player acts by committing scummy actions. For example, if, let's say one of the newer players here were to sheep a player quite a number of times, that would be scummy, yes?

Wrong.

Reads should be a basis of the person, not a basis of how they play that game in relativity to other players. If a player who uses AtE (Appeal to emotion where a player uses out of game excuses or general excuses to make players feel bad for them/sympathetic. Typically thought of as scummy) every time they're town, wouldn't that mean they're town?

As a new player, many of you are at a complete disadvantage when it comes to reads. As it stands, this is a tightly knit community who knows each other's play styles fairly well. You're going to have to try and attempt to read players based off how natural they are. By you're third or fourth game, you should have a fairly well understanding as to how others may play.

The issue is this type of post subtly states that you're town. Doing this over a prolonged period of time plants a mental image of you being town in our minds, weather you are being direct about it or not. You claimed to be a town role, and that's enough for us to start going off of.

Ok first of all Xanet, that post was completely fucking stupid and useless. It also put needless suspicion on you because you made it so specifically that it completely targeted you and Cow. It also played a lead into a WIFOM situation which are almost never beneficial to town.
