Mod kills shift the pace of the game in a pretty bad way.

Well to be honest i tricked people into that weird claim to test people, my plan all along was to hammer someone else quickly because i knew that if me and gossie had survived we would've won. The only problem is that gossie got himself mod killed so i knew that my chances of winning had been drastically reduced and i only wanted to see the pacifists lose because of what happened D1. So i went ahead and hammered parker.

I've played in these games before. I know how they are. None of them ended like this.

When I heard "flavour-based" I expected things like hints in the EotD. This was how it was always done on the other site I play on (which has flavour-heavy games as a standard) and, yes, some of these games allow rolecard quoting, screenshotting, and out of thread communication. But this never stopped them from enjoying the game, nor did it ever destroy the game itself.

The spectators had a lot of bias, but there were some things I felt that could undeniably have been better. And considering there are about ten pages of people criticising the players for it, I'm sure they already know exactly what they did and probably don't want to hear shit about it anymore. So I won't repeat anything.

I do want to say, however, that these games can be run successfully. Very successfully, actually. The moderators also sort of fucked up (apparently some of the rolecards were edited and the reviewers didn't see the rules until afterwards) so the blame does not lie entirely within the players or anybody itself, really. When you take this in context, this has NEVER been run on BMG before and nobody was used to it.

In regards to bastard games, I agree they shouldn't be announced. Some people like that sort of surprise, but it probably should become a standard to specifically say that a certain game is not bastard, so those who are interested and safely sign up if they prefer to play in regular games.

- This pitch failed, but only because it was the first of its kind.
