Good lord, had to catch up on all of this.
I don't think it's too smart for the mayor to reveal himself this early in the game just to die (if there is a mayor)

Facts :
2 people killed BG and GF.
2 people claim to be transported.
No once claims to be doused. But there still may be an Arsonist, as someone said earlier person who died could've been doused.
We can take in consideration there might still be an SK but someone with night immunity survived the attack.

Met is on my susp list a long with Tim that will never change.
I'm actually starting not to trust Duck.
I think Sailor is not evil. Pie what's your proof?

Just because something didn't happen doesn't mean its not there. As the Janitor can't do his action unless that person dies. All I can say is lets hope if it was a Janitor they did target me as it should be a wasted clean.
*Nods* That would be nice if it is the case; a wasted ability on their part. But, we never saw anyone get cleaned so we can't say there is one quite yet. What Metrion said.

Spoiler: Lets assume here that one of the two survivors is telling the truth, that leaves us with a 25% chance the other is not lying, seeing as two of seven neutral roles are unique, and the GM does not wish for two neutral killings. This is not entirely the case however!
See heres the thing! There are actually only three roles the random could be in this scenario, thus making the likelihood both are telling the truth 1/3, because if they were the amnesiac, the lie would be seen through as soon as they acted upon this fact!
Now assuming both are in fact telling the truth comes an important voting fact: only one jester is possible this game.
Also by the lack of stabbings I gather we are going to follow the assumption we have an arsonist, however we will need to see another night to further this role check.
Of course we have a witch, who targeted Splodge meaning he is the only one not likely to fit that role.

Mafia
Spoiler: Now first of all seeing as nobody was escorted we can assume but not confirm that there is no consort.
However that means something noteworthy.
Assuming of course town does not have an escort, that means the mafia have an extra role that is unknown to us.
At least one mafia member has to be a consigliere, and here lies an issue for the town. The random Mafia member could be a second consigliere.
Now with one being promoted to mafioso though the advantage mafia has should be slightly lowered.
What we need to figure out though is what roles mafia has (best bet is janitors as they cannot mess with our night investigations)

Town
Spoiler: Heres my view on town so far (Not posting to large an analysis as town is hardest to judge)
5 Citizens as it has most sway in random town.
Investigator(Duh it says so)
My guess of sheriff or lookout is the sheriff, primarily because it would help explain why some people have heavy sways of opinion and don't explain it.
Town Protective was the bodyguard(Confirmed)
Town Killing I would have to say is a mystery to me although I would hazard a guess at it being veteran if only because every other game got vigilantes.
Town support is the transporter (Confirmed)
Town Power I would assume is the retributionist if only for the fact that if we had a mayor the best bet would be to reveal so they could gather information on everyones roles.
Note this is mostly guesswork.

Its for the fact a revealed mayor is a trustworthy source.
Heres how things go down.
  • Mayor reveals
  • Mayor ask for everyone's roles.
  • Everyone whispers role to mayor
  • Mayor then reveals who has inconsistent stories and is therefore not believable.
Its really just an easy way to both confirm every role in the game, but also give lookout a target as well (Assuming we have one this would be an easy way to remove mafia/Nkilling)

Some clarification on the Roles and the Role List:

1) Blackmailer is NOT a role that is practical for Forum Mafia use.

2) Transporter and Witch are UNIQUE ROLES, there cannot be two of them (As is Amnesiac, if both Random Neutral and Neutral Benign were drawn to be Amnesiacs I redid the draw for those 2 slots)

3) I may have said this before, but if I forgot, I will say it now: The Random Town or Random Mafia may not be an Investigator or a Consigliere - for this game they are considered unique roles (although an Amnesiac may become one, should there be an Amnesiac and should he choose to be one of those roles).
The reason for this is two Investigators or Consiglieres at the start of the game makes Town or Mafia really OP - Forum Mafia is based on deduction and posts, not the Investigative Roles.

4) Please capitalize the W in Whisper PMs (the PM subject) - the forum is case sensitive for PM Folder Rules (I have all whispers go into a Whisper folder)

5) The Random Neutral may not be a neutral Killing or a Witch

6) Remember that every player only gets 5 whispers a day (1 day = 120 hours) - use them wisely!

That's what I don't want to happen so early in the game if there is a mayor. But I do like the strategy. Does anyone agree that the mayor(if there is one) should do this?

See the transporter is a helpful role to still have alive for that reason!
Its actually their continued life that actually makes a mayor reveal safe!
Plus if we have a lookout, and mayor is attacked, attacker is found out!

If the mayor was attacked WHILE he was transported AND being looked at, someone else whould die. The lookout whouldn't be able to tell.
In fact, the attacker whould seem like a innocent, since he visited the mayor and he didn't die.

We now have voting polls open to the public!

To vote, simply go in the threads and vote against someone.

Remember that you may only vote once - I trust that you people will only be voting in one thread at a time (Each poll = maximum 10 options so I made 2 polls)

Also, remember that you still have to write /vote [Player] when voting for me to count it towards the official vote count.

Hopefully this will allow for players to see the vote count at any time - and make it a lot less difficult for the mods to see who has voted against whom.

It is also recommended that vote post your /vote [Player] in the voting poll threads as well so that we may triple-check the vote counts.

Note that this is a test, if it goes well it will be used in future games (polls will be edited / deleted as the game goes on / game ends)


Also note that all vote counts have been reset to 0.
