The echo of games


Rules:
  • All Town of Salem Forums general rules apply.
  • Gamethrowing is forbidden.
  • Prevent Angelshooting, Jestering, Spamming and Code-talking.
  • Any outside of thread communication is forbidden unless you have given my permission.
  • Be respectful to the players in the game.
  • You must have at least 2 posts with content each 24 hours otherwise you receive a prod, further without talking if you fail to provide content after 16 hours you will get another prod which results in a force replacement. 2 prods are a forced replacement.
  • Do not refer any private conversation with me. This includes quoting and screen shooting.
  • Voting - When you vote a player you write /vote Player. If you want to unvote them you write /vote unvote.
  • Mafia chat and dead chat are in discord.

Game Info wrote:Days are 72 hours long and nights are 24 hours long.
Mafia shares a chat which they can use as long as they are alive and they also share a factional kill each night.
Transporter and Mafia Tactical are unique.
Neutral Evil win even if dead.
Lynches are based on majority and plurality. Should a draw occur, the first player to hit that number is lynched.
Full night results(except for roles that mess this up). Kill credits. Roles flip upon death.
Citizen may roll once in Random Town and has a possibility of 25% to roll in Random Town.

Doctor:
Do doctors heal one attack or all of them: All.
Are attackers informed of immunity if they hit a healed target: Yes.
If two Doctors heal the same person who is attacked, what happens: They both receive a message of successful healing. The attacked player will only receive one message.

Bodyguard:
If multiple killing roles attack someone who is guarded (mafia and town killing), which will die: Town killing
If a killing role attacks someone who is guarded, can they be healed by a Doctor: Yes, and that's a big oof.

Marshal:
If a Marshal chooses to protect an Escort, and a Witch forces said Escort onto the Marshal, what happens: The Witch would be scared off by the Marshal.
If multiple roles target someone who is protected by a marshal, which will be scared away: Framer > Silencer > Janitor > Escort > Consort > Neutral Evil(All of them can get scarred) > Town Killing > Mafia Kill (RNG decides between duplicates)
Can Marshal scare framer's focus: No.

Lookout and Tracker:
If a player is scared off by a marshal or a rolestopper will they pick it up: No.
If the player doesn't visit or is visited, will I inform you: No. + There is a possible Silencer in play. *Lookout can still see visits on a silent player.
Can the Lookout detect the framed target's visit(if they have a night action): No, the Lookout will see only the visit on the focused player.
Is Framer's focus detectable: Yes.

Transporter:
If a transporter makes a Firebrand target themself: The Firebrand will ignite.

Escort:
If the Escort roleblocks a Witch or other roleblock-immune role, will the Escort be informed that their roleblock has failed: No.
If the Escort roleblocks a Witch or other roleblock-immune role, will the target be informed that someone attempted to roleblock them: Yes.
If you are roleblocked twice in the same night, will you get the "You were roleblocked" message twice: Yes.

Detective and Cop:
What will happen if you hit a silenced player: You will get "No result". If you are a Detective the next night you hit an un-silenced target you will compare them with your previous previous target. Until as a Detective you hit your second target successfully you will never know if your first target was silenced.

Firebrand:
If a Firebrand is witched to themselves as to ignite, what will occur if they try to ignite in the future: I will inform the Firebrand it can't ignite. The Firebrand may check if they still have an ignition during night phase.

Mafia:
Can you choose to attack a member of the Mafia: Yes, as long as there is an explanation provided to me and to the overseer.
If the consort carries out the tactical kill, is it still roleblock immune: No. [See Escort for an additional info]
Can the Janitor choose to clean themselves at night: Yes.
Can Blackmailer repeat failed actions: Yes.
Is Blackmailer acting as the role they are copying its action: Yes.

Witch:
Will framer still focus a player if they are under witch's control: Yes, the focused target stays, the Witch will only change the framer's frame target.
If the Witch attempts to control someone that is immune, will the Witch be informed their action failed: No.
If the Witch attempts to control someone that is immune, will the target be informed a Witch tried to control them: Yes.

Rolestopper:
If Marshal chooses to protect a player who is also being protected by a Rolestopper, what happens: The Rolestopper has priority over Marshal and thus will scare the Marshal. If there is another visitor let's say Town Investigative, the Rolestopper will scare the Town Investigative role and the Marshal will scare the Rolestopper.
Rolestopper scaring priority:
Town Investigate(Cop -> Detective -> Tracker -> Lookout) -> Escort -> Town Protective(Doctor -> Bodyguard -> Marshal) -> Mafia Deception(Framer -> Silencer -> Janitor) -> Mafia Support(Consort -> Consigliere -> Agent) -> Killing abilities(Town Killing -> Factional Kill) (RNG decides between duplicates)
What is Rolestopper's and Marshal's feedback: "You were scared off".
Can Rolestopper scare framer's focus: No.

Kleptomaniac:
Can you be scared off by a Marshal when stealing from an alive player: Yes, however you will not consume a charge.
Can you target cleaned players: No and why would you.
List of roles/actions the Kleptomaniac will not pick up(= not successful): [Town Killing, Detective, Caporegime, Mafia Tactical, Transporter, Citizen, Role block, Scared off, No visit, Mafia Tactical Kill, Backup].
Note: If Kleptomanic steals marshal's ability, they will use it as they are a Rolestopper.

At night you may shoot someone you believe to be evil.
You can't shoot at the first night and you have only 3 bullets so make them count.
If you shoot a member of the town you will not be able to shoot a player again.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are the Firebrand

Your alignment is Town Killing.

Each night you can douse a player in a gasoline or instead choose to ignite your doused targets.
Your method of killing ignore night immunity.
You can only ignite once, thus think carefully before you choose to ignite.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Marshal

Your alignment is Town Protective.

Each night you may choose to follow a player. Your presence scares one malicious person from targeting them.
You will only be informed if you scare away a role who had killing intentions.
Should your target be visited by multiple people with malicious intent, only one will flee unless they have been scared by you in a prior night.
(Mafia Deception > Neutral Evil/Escort/Consort > Killing Roles)
Roles that use charges will still consume them upon being frightened off.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Doctor

Your alignment is Town Protective.

At night you can heal a player you believe to be town.
If your target were to be attacked, both you and your target would know about this.
You have 1-selfheal which you can use at a night you believe to be attacked. You will be informed if you are being attacked at the night you selfhealed.
You can use the selfheal only once.


You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Bodyguard

Your alignment is Town Protective.

Each night you can choose one player to protect.
If your target is attacked, both you and the attacker die instead.
If you successfully protect someone, you can't be saved from death.
Your counterattack ignores night immunity.
You also have 1 bulletproof vest. If somebody tries to attack you when you wear a bulletproof vest, they will receive a message saying that you were immune.
You can use the 1 bulletproof vest only once.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Detective

Your alignment is Town Investigative.

Each night you may question a player.
When you question a player you will be informed if they have a connection to the previously questioned player or not. If they are connected then they are of the same alignment (Town, Mafia, Neutral).
The Godfather appears to be as the member of the Town, so be on a lookout for that.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Cop

Your alignment is Town Investigative.

You may choose to interrogate someone each night, checking them for suspicious activity.
You will know if your target is Mafia or possibly a member of the Town.
The Godfather hides their tracks so you will not be able to fine them.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Tracker

Your alignment is Town Investigative.

Each night you may track a player, seeing if they visit someone. You will know at the end of the night if your target visits another player and who they visit.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Lookout

Your alignment is Town Investigative.

Each night you may spy on a player that is not you. You will only know their visitors.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are an Escort

Your alignment is Town Support.

Each night you may roleblock a player.
You will block their night action if they have any and they aren't immune to it.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are the Transporter

Your alignment is Town Support.

Every night you may transport two people.
The two people will be notified that they were transported.
Any actions against the two people will be swapped.
You may not transport yourself.
You are immune to being controlled by a witch.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Medium

Your alignment is Town Support.

Each night you may visit the graveyard and perform a seance on a dead player.
At the start of the day you will learn who they have targeted so far and their night results for each night.
This ability will fail if you target a non town role.
You may visit cleaned players.
If you die you can choose at night to send a 250 character message to any alive player in the town. You can still communicate with other dead players while doing so.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are a Trauma Patient

Your alignment is Town Support.

At night you may choose to remember a non-unique, non-killing Town role.
You will assume this role the next night.

You win with the Town.
You must kill the Mafia and any other evildoers.


You are the Godfather

Your alignment is Mafia Head.

You are unkillable at night. If somebody tries to attack you, they will receive a message saying that you were immune.
As the leader of the Mafia every other member will report to you what happened to them each night.
If you are interrogated by a Cop or Detective, you will appear to be "Innocent".
You can communicate with your allies each phase, for as long as they are alive.

Your allies are [x] the [role], [x] the [role], and [x] the [role].

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are the Caporegime

Your alignment is Mafia Head.

You may target a member in your team at night, retraining them into another Mafia role of your choosing. The player who is being retrained is roleblocked even through immunity if the retraining succeeds. However, should you be retraining yourself this will be ignored.
Should this ability succeed then you must wait an additional night until you may retrain again.
You may not promote players into unique roles, even if they are already an unique role.
You can communicate with your allies each phase, for as long as they are alive.

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are the Mafioso

Your alignment is Mafia Tactical.

Each night you may choose 1 member of the Mafia to shadow. You will carry out their job that night on any target you wish.
You may only do this once per player in the Mafia.
Shadowing a Mafia Head role only grants you their specific passive(s). Night immunity is not applicable.
If a member of the Mafia dies you may permanently assume that role if you wish at any time.
You can communicate with your allies each phase, for as long as they are alive.

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are the Blackmailer

Your alignment is Mafia Tactical.

Each night you may visit a single player's house, you are informed of what roles also visit them.
You will also perform all actions which targeted your target the previous night.
If you repeat an investigative action that isn't detective's you will pick it up.
Each day you can send three anonymous messages to any player. The player may send a message back if they wish.
Anonymous messages are limited to 200 characters.
You can communicate with your allies each phase, for as long as they are alive.

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are an Agent

Your alignment is Mafia Support.

Each day, you can bug a player. At the end of the day, you will be told whether or not they can visit other players with their action(s).
Each night, you can track a player. You will see who they visit, and will receive any night results they would receive.
You can communicate with your allies each phase, for as long as they are alive.

You win with the Mafia.

You are a Consigilere

Your alignment is Mafia Support.

Each night you may investigate a player. At the end of the night you will know your target's role card.

You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are a Consort

Your alignment is Mafia Support.

Each night you may roleblock a player.

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are a Janitor

Your alignment is Mafia Deception.

Each night, you can clean a player.
If they die that night, their role will not be revealed to anyone except you.
You can use this action up to 3 times.
You can communicate with your allies each night, for as long as they are alive.

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are a Silencer

Your alignment is Mafia Deception.

Each night you may visit a player and mute them; removing any feedback they would give other players through their role or otherwise.
You can communicate with your allies each phase, for as long as they are alive.

Your allies are [x] the [role], [x] the [role], and [x] the [role].

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are a Framer

Your alignment is Mafia Deception.

Each night you have the ability to frame one player of your choice. If they're inspected by a Cop or a Detective that night, it'll say they're a Mafia member.
In addition, you may choose to focus a player. If the framed player is inspected by a Tracker, they will appear to visit the focused player. If the focused player is visited by a Lookout, the framed player will appear to visit them.
You can communicate with your allies each phase, for as long as they are alive.

Your allies are [x] the [role], [x] the [role], and [x] the [role].

You win with the Mafia.
You must kill anyone who opposes you.


You are the Witch

Your alignment is Neutral Evil.

Every night you can choose somebody to control and somebody who you want your controlled player to use their ability on.
You won't be informed of the end result of your controlling or even if the one you controlled had an ability to use at all!
You'll have to pay close attention to learn people's abilities and use them to make the townsfolk suffer.
Your expertise in magic also taught you defensive spells. You have perfected a magical immunity shield, which shrouds your body.
It will discharge the instant you are attacked without protection. The shield will only work against non-town attack.
Once the shield has discharged these attacks will harm you, like any other non-magic user.
The attacker will only know of your immunity to their attack.
You are immune to being roleblocked.

Help the Mafia take over the town.


You are the Rolestopper

Your alignment is Neutral Evil.

Each night you may choose to terror a player's house. The horror will scare one player from visiting your target.
You will know if you manage to scare a player.
Due to your vicious deeds you will terrorize mostly innocent players. If only scum roles visit your target, the horror will consume one scum and force them to leave the house.
Roles that use charges will still consume them upon being scared off.
If you scare off a killing action you will know who you scared but not what their role is.
The horror envelopes you and creates a shield immune to one non-town attack performed on you.
The way you horror a player is similar to the marshal's fright.

Help the Mafia take over the town.


You are the Kleptomaniac

Your alignment is Neutral Evil.

Each night, you can choose a dead or an alive player to steal from.
When you choose to steal from an alive player at night you will learn and copy their night ability if they successfully use their night ability(role block/fear/no visit counts as no use). You will be informed if you steal anything including special attributes(IE night/roleblock immunity). You will be informed if you hit an immune role(Godfather), however if you hit an unique ability(Mafia factional kill/Transporter) you will not pick it up.
If you successfully steal from an alive player during the night you will store the ability which you have stolen and you may use it any night you wish.
You may use the dead player's ability or the stored ability as if you were that role for that night and gain any of their special attributes.
For each player you may only steal from them once, dead or alive it doesn't matter once is once. You may not pull off more than 2 successfully steals on alive players as the fear of being caught.
You may not steal from unique roles.
You will be passively informed of how many charges each dead player or a stashed ability has at the beginning of each night.
When you steal from a killing role, you will only take their passives. You're not one for killing.
You may not steal from an alive player and use an ability at the same night.
