Disallow Spy to See Godfather/Mafioso Visit

Spy shouldn't know who was attacked. The only purpose is to see if they survived or not, which is strictly unfunny for evils, who already wasted a kill. The only other case would be that Spy would have to guess who was attacked out of all the Mafia visits (but it's normally quite obvious).

I disagree, that ability is part of Spy's kit currently. It wouldn't really make sense to remove it.

Doesn't seem like this particular Spy nerf would have much of an effect. I'd much rather skip straight to discussing removing the Spy's "see Mafia visits" ability outright, without making small steps of giving specific Mafia members immunity to it.

Note that the DIsguiser is already capable of hiding the Mafia kill from the Spy, so this is already a possibility that the Town might need to worry about (albeit a rare one).

Well, since this only happens when Disguiser does it, one of the mafia visits is confirmed Mafioso/Godfather.

What's the point of blocking spy's least useful result? Most people don't care to hear who mafioso/GF visited from the spy because, well, they're likely already dead now, so it's kind of obvious. Most people are interested in hearing the other visits so you can confirm if there is hypnotist, consort, etc.

Because the only time it's actually useful, it reveals immune targets through no fault of their own. Add that to mafia not getting a kill that night, and it's pretty devastating to evils/swingy.

I never thought I would ever read someone saying this.

Spy was always a weird role, with either totally OP or practically useless abilities. There's no way to keep it balanced unless it's completely reworked into something different.

Mine was two bugs who showed target's feedback and the role of the mafia/coven thay visited a target (if there was a visit)

Soulshader's one showed the feedback and the amount of town/neutral/mafia/coven visits on their two targets

idk, confirming the RM would be really strong for town, especially if there is an invest in the game.
And confirming the alignement of visits could also be broken if there is a lookout. Imagine doing that on jailor visits n1.

The problem is the meta, not the role, and while you have a point I think its better than being a sitting duck

i like that, but im assuming you mean more of a softcounter
