The cause of death should be anonymous

The cause of death (other than from jailor executions and haunts) should be anonymous.
This opens up new strategies- such as a serial killer acting like a vigilante or werewolf, arsonist
acting like a werewolf, mafioso acting like a vigilante, and veterans (that have killed) would be more questionable.

This is a good idea, but it's more different than it is better. IMO it's good for there to be multiple Mafia-like games to choose from, some of which make cause of death clear and some of which keep it anonymous.

Town of Salem uses the (overall slightly worse) pattern of making cause of death clear, and IMO it should stay that way.

It would take a lot of the logic out of the game, and town would need to random vote, especially if the TIs are dead

It's a good idea but this will drop a lot of Town's w/r, I support your idea with one condition: buff the TIs.

Throne of Lies does is this way, and it seems to work OK.
