Error Can't add friend

I've been trying to add BonnieSansClyde, and it first added her twice and then she disappeared from the friends list entirely and now no notification shows up when we try to add each other. We can still add each other to parties but not friends, we have to type out the usernames every time. This has happened with mulitple logins and logouts.
