Friend Request Invalid

I just received two friend requests in my notifications and accepted both. However, both times it said the request was invalid when I accepted the request and neither person was added to my friend list. I then tried to add them but nothing happened.

Try shutting off the game and then opening it again. Friends should be in your list by then.
