I was Guardian Angel. My target was the Mafioso. He was lynched last, ending the game, and I didn't turn into a survivor. So I lost as a living Guardian Angel.

My target died, but I didn't become survivor.


I'm guessing it's the same mechanic that keeps an exe an exe if their target dies right before the game ends or a VH stays a VH even if the last evil lynched is a vampire. I get the mechanic, but in those cases, it doesn't affect whether someone wins or loses.

It's the same situation if you were dead and your target was lynched.

How so? Honest question. Does the end of the game act as if all the living players are dead?

I assume that the roletransmission to Survivor only works over the night, to prohibit "gamethrowing" done by the GA, which is siding against the one they should protect.
