Friends dont work

Hello,

for the last 2 days i get an error message when i try to add friends,
it doesnt matter if i respond to their friend request or if i send a friend request myself, i still get the same error message.

This is the error i get whenever i try to add someone, or accept a friend request.

it says: "Error pending friend reuest status was invalid!"

Yes, i've tried it many times.
I really dont understand what the problem is.
It happened after i bought coven, so is it possible the issue is related to that?

I've had the same problem for ages now. I think everyone knows it, but no one's ever made a post on it.

What works for me is to just relog the game and relog Steam. Then when I get back online, the person miraculously appears in my friends list.

Well, actually, i decided to reinstall the game and that actually worked!
I still get the error message, but i can add friends and accept friend requests!
So i guess my problem is fixed.
