Abnormal Disconnection

Ok so I want to play Town of Salem with my friend and he can't play Town of Salem because whenever he tries to get in a ranked game the queue happens and after the queue finishes the timer is stuck on 0 second and he gets disconnected. This happens both on Steam and browser for him. Why is this happening to him? Can anyone please respond and help me and my friend out? His username on Town of Salem is CertifiedThotty
