Download always stuck on 45% on google chrome

my game download is always stuck on 45% on google chrome clearing the cache and even trying it on incognito mode doesnt work at all, if someone has any other fixes to the problem would be appreciated.

I've been told to change the browser I play on but google chrome is the smoothest for town of salem so I'd like to avoid that
