Juggernaut did not die when triggering trap

I placed a trap on a fellow townie on the same night that they were attacked by a juggernaut. The townie and I both died, as expected. I got a message about the trap being triggered by a juggernaut, as expected.
But the juggernaut didn't die.

It is my understanding that the juggernaut never gets more than basic defense. A trap deals a powerful attack. So this was a bug, yes?

Im thinking its cause his attack ignores all protection when fully powered up which takes 4 kills

Yea, but the Juggernaut should still die, since BG still kills Jugg, while their target still dies

Nope, no GA in the game at all that I recall, and there definitely wasn't one on the juggernaut. No doctor/PM to heal them, either.

was there a crusader on the Juggy? Crus also provides powerful defence, which can protect from traps and BGs.
