therefore, pirate and Jailor are super-roleblockers
Before all these changes, SK is inherently
not immune to roleblock unlike these roles. He just kills anyone who stops him from attacking (SK, Pirate, Escort, Consort). The new changes might make it look like SK is immune to roleblock, but the rolecard doesn’t say so, the SK doesn’t receive RB immune messages, and this rule of super-roleblockers only applies to SK mechanic as to that he cannot kill another person other than Pirate/Jailor while not being Cautious.
It’s always been true that Pirate’s roleblocks do not stop RB immune roles from doing their work, from the wording ‘you are
roleblocked by the pirate!’, the fact that they can still choose to do their actions (and the person above implied that they could), to the most obvious case where it happens is that Veteran and Pirate can both kill each other because the Veteran is allowed to alert.
Unless the devs state otherwise about how Pirate’s roleblocking ability is now also affecting roleblock immune roles, this is how it is right now in the game.
