Unable to change vote

I was in a town traitor game and then person I was voting left so i tried to change my vote but it wouldnt let me

As seen, 8 left the game when I had a vote on him, then I tried to change my vote to edward bishop but it would not add the vote, if you read chat someone else had the problem and I just thought I was lagging.
