Constant flash crashes and game freezing causing lost ELO

So I've lost 90 elo these last 2 days because of crashes and game freezing. Why is this such a great amount of loss for things we have no control over?

This was to combat leavers. The server does not know how you left, so the punishment is issued either way.
I apologize for the dismay and hope the upcoming unity client is causing less crashes.

I don't understand why they value punishing leavers (who obviously don't even care about their elo) over making sure people who can't control it don't get punished. I say elo loss for dcing should be lowered until a proper reconnection system is in place. This is a problem on mobile as well...

Yet another crash. I was BG, we had a jailor, and 2 maf. Should have been an easy win, but I crashed and lost yet another 30 elo. @jerme are you guys at least able to compensate lost elo for these things? Since BMG hasn't updated the flash version in like a year or more, browsers are not able to support this game much, and every browser or flash update makes it worse. You can't expect your loyal players to just accept all this wasted time and effort for things they can't control. I literally have nothing else to gain in this game except through ranked, so constantly being smacked down like this is just mind numbingly painful to do anymore.
