Re: Dangan Ronpa XXIV - The End!

The plan was not for everyone to survive. It was for me to have a chance to live.

Re: Dangan Ronpa XXIV - Final Chapter: Mors Vincit Omnia

Note that if two people (or more) deviate from the plan the entire thing falls apart. One person doing it (that undesirable one) will not hurt us, but two will. Do watch out for what you do, assume that one person will try to mess things up.

As said, I was going to share my vial with Alex, but seeing I'm not his first choice, I will go with Poyraz instead. Unless he has a vial, then Alex.
Sintri can die in a tsunami for all I care.

Re: Dangan Ronpa XXIV - Final Chapter: Mors Vincit Omnia

At least three of us want to share. One undesirable appears to want to keep a vial to themselves.

To fix this, there is a way to have a 3/4 chance for all of us to win.

If I steal from Poyraz, Poyraz from Sintri, Sintri from Alex, and Alex from me, chances are the vials will end up in good hands. That is why it's 3/4 chance. (If we all steal from each other in circle, I was told the holders of the vial/s would be RNG'd).

My action will be to steal from Poyraz. This seems like our best bet to have a semi-perfect win (if only I had solved that last trial...).

I don't see why you should.

I will share the vial with Alex, that one moron has a vial for himself, Poyraz dies. Everyone wins.

Aaand we're out of subactions.

My idea of the extra actions was that the "leave the room you left off A6" was skipped and the killer immediately teleported to the initial location they wanted, like what happens to everyone at the start of the night. I see how yours would make more sense.

I just checked and it appears I overlooked the table + spots of blood in the upper ballroom, which would confirm the body was hidden there. In which case Veronica would not have enough time during her normal night to carry the body there and hide it.

So yeah, I've sadly been barking up the wrong tree. Happens.

UzayAltay wrote:Well.
Let me explain how I think murder happened.
Culprit entered upper ballroom, maybe at the same time with Chem, maybe Chem was already there, I don't know.
Culprit attacked Chem, and start pressing her neck for strangling her.
At this point, when struggle is going on, not sure but possibly, they must have hit the table, causing table to be flipped, and, cutleries over them to fall.
Than culprit hid the body under table.
Question is who?

I very heavily doubt the upper ballroom is the crime scene. I believe it was said there were no signs of struggle.

More importantly, as said a post above, Steel being the culprit would mean he threw the silverware from the top floor to try and fabricate an alibi. That is elegant enough for me to take the bait.

late A3, A4 and A6 isn't even confirmed, what the fuck are you talking about?

Body hadn't been hung up on the balcony by A5, so the part about A3 and A4 is irrelevant.

The explosion confirms Veronica's whereabouts for A6.

Unless I missed something, there is nothing stopping Veronica from hanging the body post-A6.

You're missing the part where the explosion KO'd Veronica.

You must have fish memory. I'm pretty sure it was discussed that she could have been faking it.

Re: Dangan Ronpa XXIV - Class Trial 3 - Time for a Lynching

Fine. I suppose the poo piano is not relevant.

I've tried clearing people, but I was only able to 99% clear one person. Amelia could not have taken the piano wires due to her lack of cutting tools. The only time she could have taken anything would have been in night 2, during her second action. She was left alone in the library (meaning she could head to the kitchen, or anywhere else, to get a cutting tool). I believe there was evidence of her being there at the library at the time due to her taking a book, so I can guarantee up to 99% that she couldn't have gotten any cutting tool from anywhere. With nothing to cut, she can't get the wires

Other than Amelia, listing possibilities made me realize that all four suspects could have committed the murder one way or another. The only way I have to point towards anyone is by looking at who is the most suspicious. Such task involves taking some risky conclusions based on dubious logic, result of the lack of information and time.

I will be removing myself from the suspect list. Because I'm me. And so I can focus on the other three.

The first suspect is Poyraz. He took scissors N1 and we still have a machete unaccounted for. He could have taken the wires at any point he was unaccounted for during night 1 or night 2.
The victim not being seen after A3 points to them dying relatively early. A4 maximum. So, although unlikely, it is possible for him to have done it during his A5 action. If he hadn't refused to give details about his alibi until after everyone had said theirs, I would trust him more.
That said, I will not be voting Poyraz because the other two are even more suspicious than him.

The second suspect is Veronica. She practically blew up the place where the murder weapon came from.
Her getting a cutting tool and then the wires is based on nobody seeing her during the first two actions of the second night. So in theory, A1 she was in the kitchen getting a knife, A2 in the parlor getting wires.
The only objection I can see against her taking them then is that she was the second person to give an alibi. Lying about your whereabouts while being one of the firsts is risky. But to be fair, no one ever goes to the parlor. It could have been an easy lie.
I'm not going to let the parlor explosion slide though, that is something I would expect from Steel. Not Veronica.

Speaking of Steel, the third suspect, he had all the time in the world night 2 (nobody saw them ever) to get a cutting tool + wires.
The lack of wound on the victim's face is a really minor thing, but the same plate he supposedly smashed on her face being in her inventory is suspicious. No one else seeing Chem Chem other than him is suspicious. Him not doing the mess he's been causing so far is suspicious.

My conclusion is, reasons to vote both are equally valid. I'm voting Veronica solely for the fact it would be more elegant if she did it.
Maybe if we had found the crime scene this wouldn't be a problem.

All of that aside, what was Chem Chem thinking? Considering no one saw her, she definitely died in the smoking, drawing or dining room. Those are places nobody visits. It's almost like she had a death wish.

Re: Dangan Ronpa XXIV - Class Trial 3 - Time for a Lynching

Before I say what's on my mind, I need to know if your piano worked, Charon (@host).

According to Veronica, she tried playing it during the second night and it did not play any sound. Which could mean the wires were never there in the first place. Or that they were taken at some point in the first night.

Regardless of the reason, I want to know. Did your piano (the one in the parlor, obviously) even work when we got here?

I cannot really make my accusafion yet without hearing all information, but there's somebody I am suspecting.

Your hypocrisy will end me.

Who. Were. You. With. A very simple question. Repeating your locations answers nothing.

You have given no information in your alibi other than where you were. I want names. People names. And actions.

Who entered the room you were in? When did they enter? What did they do? When did they leave? What did you do in your night? When did you enter and leave each room?

Without this your alibi is unusable. If you are not going to bother describing your night in detail like we have done you might as well be Chem Chem. Dead and useless.

I hope that was clear enough.

At A2, I may have caused some damage at foyer. Well, I was planning to damage the paintings mainly, but whatever I am satisfied.
At A6, I went to my room back. Mainly because I were afraiding from being murdered in an unlucky way, Definitely not because I was at same room for 3 actions so I was forced to leave, when I wasn't really afraiding from an action without any witness.
Yeah, this is all I guess.

I am making the spreadsheet right now and I would appreciate a clearer alibi from you. "I was with someone in every action" does not tell me who you were with.

Ezradekezra wrote:Anything you want me to check on with the body? I'm kinda hitting a dead end with my investigation.

Check everything. Their expression, their pockets, their clothes, their shoes, their nails (look for skin underneath, maybe they fought with the culprit). Look for more wounds. And if they do have more wounds try to identify what kind of weapon could have caused them (blunt, sharp), then stick your fingers in the wound/s if possible to see if there is anything inside.

The rope is also important. Check how long it is, if it has blood anywhere, maybe even its thickness could help.

Be thorough.

Re: Dangan Ronpa XXIV - Class Trial 3 - Time for a Lynching

Amelia's night actions are incredibly vague.
A big omission is not mentioning I left the lab A2. If you didn't mention that, it is likely you skipped more events. Reword them, Amelia.

As for mine,

[A1] I first went to the lab. The room had three empty wooden tables in the center and a long counter on the back, which had two sinks. There were also some cabinets on some wall.
I was curious on what could be in there, so I looked through and found several chemicals and acids.
I was alone.

[A2] I kept searching for the shelves and found they did also contain poisonous substances. Amelia walked in at this point.
Although Amelia claims she needed water, she has not mentioned she searched the cabinets too. At no point in my time there I saw her using the sinks.

Having confirmed the existence of poison in the lab, I headed to the kitchen. I was alone.
As I walked in, I heard a scream right above me. Above the kitchen are the dormitories, that is why I wanted to investigate one of them.
I turned on the oven. What followed was a screeching sound from somewhere not far away along with a crashing sound moments later.

[A3] I turned off the kitchen lights and left to see what had happened. I soon stepped into the foyer.
There were countless pieces of broken glass and sparkling wires presumably from the chandelier on the ground that, I assume, fell from the ceiling. I had to tip toe around as to not to step on anything.
I was alone.

[A4] Since that told me nothing, I tried going to the master bedroom. The door was locked, but I noted the handle and carpet were covered with a sticky dark red substance that got on my hand and shoes.
I knocked but got no response.
This action followed the trend of me being alone.

[A5] I went back to the kitchen, where the smell of gas had been building up.
Soon came Sintri carrying Steel, the latter looking distressed and disoriented. Sintri put them down and frantically searched the cupboards.
After them appeared Alex. One of his eyes was gone and blood came out of the hole. He said the library was cursed.

[A6] Sintri, being the kind soul he is, accompanied me to the library to investigate if the books were the cause of all the chaos.
The first thing I noticed was that the restricted section's fence was now a metal wall, with no door in sight. The second thing was that the books were not hungry at all.

---

My investigation of Chem's room did not reveal anything I didn't know. She had made a mess of it, and everything was the same as it was two nights ago. The dresser laid on the floor with glass scattered around it.

As for the Ballroom's first floor, I spotted the rope that had been used on the victim hanging from the upper floor. I couldn't investigate it, so I moved elsewhere.
At the far end of the room was a chair embedded in one of the windows, spiderwebs spreading out from where it was stuck. Another chair was on its side at one of the other windows.

On the floor were multiple pieces of cutlery, all over the place.

And that is all.

Checking any room is fine. Since my reasoning is related to my night actions, I don't think I can say why.

Though it is true checking randomly may not give the best results. I will investigate Chem Chem's room instead.
