In my first game with Gucci they were jailor. The next game Gucci claimed jailor again and was jester. Whenever Gucci claims jailor now I just react unfazed.

One time I fakeclaimed medium and the jailor thought that medium was an investigative role.

I get protective roles a lot, so town me would protect whoever mafia me attacks.
So I would have to predict my own actions in order to succeed.

Well, that's news to me.

It's not gamethrowing, but it's detrimental to your team. Plus, vigilante appears in the same investigation result as Mafioso, which made you appear even more suspicious (as whispering, which you opposed, is a town-favored mechanism).
