Town of Salem Game Forums

Good game, everyone (except Wildraven who intentionally gamethrew). I wish I'd put more effort into this game from the beginning; I think the stress of A. rolling mafia/League of Villains for my first game and B. this being a 30-player game with lots of people still talking even after a few days ultimately got to me, but I still had fun. You guys are an awesome group of people, and I enjoyed this opportunity.

If Var wasn't RBed, I have no clue who I blocked. I slept peacefully N1, so if it was a redirect, it was also silent, and I don't remember anyone D2 claiming they were transported, so that would also be silent.

I don't know why BS would use their ability without consulting everyone ahead of time.

Sorry, was getting dinner. I blocked Var N1. The blocked person doesn't get notified, although if they were an investigative role or something of that nature, they'd probably be able to tell based on the lack of feedback.

@ Eragon: This is my first game.

I'll most likely be going to bed soon, but I'll be back in 10-12 hours, so I can answer questions then.

Also, about recent discussion, if Eragon really was an Executioner-type role, I don't know if they'd continue to be this obvious about it well into D3. D2 I could kind of see, but that strategy didn't work that well, as frop is still here and Eragon was the only person really insistent on lynching them over anyone else.

If I was really Consort, why would I claim a role that similar to mine?

I think they mean the gender of your flavor character, not your personal gender, Eragon. Otherwise there'd be no sure way to make sure the role was balanced ahead of time.

Evil hasn't been acting blatantly scummy IMO. Frop seems slightly more scummy than Eragon, but I could see them both as Town.

Him claiming that he has the same ability has kmenx is extremely suspicious in this game specifically. And the immunity piercing thing too.
And they've been quite scummy from d1

Honestly, I can't see scum doing that kind of test. It would just draw unnecessary attention, especially since they're revoking a role claim in the process.

Lack of sleep the past two nights is catching up with me. I'll explain reasoning tomorrow.

I don't know what to think about Manatee; his "gambit" during the day with accusing Wabbit seems like too risky a strategy for scum at this point, but Kmenx's death can be explained more easily by any attack and the ability not activating than by Manatee activating them and their getting targeted by an attack that pierces immunity.

I also seem to have disappeared as a voter. But I think my last vote was to unvote, so it's not that urgent of a concern for now.

Now to decide who to vote.

You didn't comment on Fifth much when he got pressure and your progression on Wabbit was questionable.

Fifth was mostly a null read for me. There wasn't enough in his posts for me to develop a strong sense of what was his normal playing style versus his playing a certain way because of a role alignment, and he didn't stand out to me as much as some people who were more active in the thread.

And I voted Wabbit because at this point, after seeing Kmenx's role card, I think it's most likely that Manatee is town. What would be the purpose of a scum role even being able to give a town role an immune ability, regardless of whether they activated it or not? It seems counterintuitive; it goes against the whole purpose of killing off the town until voting majority can be achieved. Therefore, I don't think Manatee would have a good reason to lie about Wabbit coming up as scum for them, which would make it pretty likely that Wabbit's actually scum.

You think Manatee lied about activating Kmenx? I can't see any other way it could be taken as an excuse.

Multi is null because a lot of their posts have been relatively brief, and it's hard to get a good handle on them.
Crimson is slight town because their confusion and frustration at not having a clear picture of the situation comes off as genuine to me, and they seem to be relatively transparent with their thought process.
0verkill's posts yesterday bugged me because a lot of them were going after you but they never really explained why. And then today they voted for you again.
